SIDBI Recruitment 2024 : Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Assistant Manager Grade 'A' (General Stream)

Qualification

• Graduation in Commerce/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Administration or Engineering with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).
• Alternatively, professional qualification like Company Secretary (CS)/Certified Management Accountant (CMA/ICWA) / Charted Assountant (CA) are also acceptable.
• MBA or PGDM in any discipline (full-time, 2 years) from a recognized Institution.

Experience

• For candidates with only a graduate degree, at least 2 years experience in credit dispensation in MSME, corporate lending, or small commercial loans as an officer in institutions such as SIDBI, EXIM Bank, NABARD or scheduled commercial banks.
• Alternatively, experience in entities dealing with investment or merchant banking, asset reconstruction or project management with consulting firms may also qualify.
• No ecperience with a CA or MBA/PGDM.

Manager Grade 'B' (General Stream)

Qualification

• Graduation with 60% marks or post graduation with 55% marks (relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD).

Experience

• At least 5 years as an officer in institutions like SIDBI, RBI, NABARD, scheduled commercial banks or RBI-registered NBFCs.

Age Limit

Phase 1 

The phase 1 exam for both Grade A and B Officers will test candidates proficiency in domain-specific knowledge. This phase is essential for screening and involves topic highly relevant to the respective streams. The exam will primarily focus on technical and financial expertise, legal knowledge or IT proficiency based on the stream applied for.

• Paper I : English Language, which tests writing skills through essay writting, comprehension and business correspondence.
• Paper II : Domain specific questions tailored to each stream.

1. Browse the official website of Small Industries Development Bank of India https://www.sidbi.in .
2. On the homepage, click on "Careers" appearing on the top and a new page appears with all the current recruitments.
3. Click on "Application for Assistant Manager 'Grade-A' in General Stream".
4. Now click on "SIDBI invites Application for Recruitment of Officers in Grade 'A'-General Stream and Grade 'B'- General and Specialist Stream" and now click on the "Click hera to apply online".
5. Now candidates have to register for application process, choose the tab, "Click here for New Registratioin" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id.
6. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
7. Now login with the Registration Number and Password and start filling in the details required in SIDBI Grade A and Grade B Application Form 2024.
8. Upload the required documents as per the required dimensions.
9. Pay the required application fee online and submit the duly filled application form much before the last date.
